Heart Burns

14Feb07

On the occasion of Valentine’s Day, I give you Robert Burns’ “A Red, Red Rose” as interpreted in the medium of candy hearts. (You can make your own here.) I love Burns. Not only is his poetry is simple but affecting, but he also kept the words nice and short and the idiosyncratic spelling of Scots lets me get away with misspelling words to make them fit.

Happy Valentine’s Day, Kitty! I made this for you!

  1. Hello Peter. I stumbled upon this entry earlier this week, and it stayed with me. I give out an award for the blog entry that is the most bizarre or amazing thing(in a lighter vein) I’ve seen that week, and I’m pleased to announce that this particular entry has won the Homer Simpson Transmundanity Award this week.

  2. Thanks! It’s awesome to be transmundane!
