There can be only two, as it turns out.

I’m watching Pet Sematary II for some reason and just realized something (besides that Eddie Furlong screams like a little girl not just in Terminator 2, but in all his movies).

This man is Clancy Brown. He plays some asshole cop who is getting killed onscreen as I type this. But he’s best known as the Kurgan from Highlander. He’s also known for voiceover work, oddly enough, the voice of Spongebob Squarepants’ boss, Eugene Krabs, as well as the voice of Raiden in the animated series Mortal Kombat: Defenders of the Realm, which is, interestingly, a role previously played by his Highlander star Christopher Lambert in the film version of Mortal Kombat.

He also, I just realized, looks very much like this man, Jon Stewart (leaving aside the eight-inch height difference).

They really could be brothers. Of course, Clancy Brown would be the bullying older brother, and Jon Stewart the younger, more likable brother. But brothers nonetheless.

Update: Clancy Brown is awesome in this movie (which is, itself, less than awesome).

Clancy Brown rocks face. He’s awesome in pretty much anything; even made ER tolerable for a minute. Imagine that.

  2. 2 Keith

Clancy Brown is the Man. Awesome in Buckaroo Banzai, too.

  3. I L-O-V-E Clancy Brown. Keith is right, he is the Man. The Main Man.

  4. 4 the other Peter

Clancy is good, curmudgeonly or just mean he does a good acting job. Earth 2 anyone? No just a serving of Clancy please.

But Pete I’ve gotta say the Clancy and Steward comparison? Youz on the crack.
