Saigon Kick – “Hostile Youth”

02Jul07

Here’s another test post, and a little extra added value in terms of a video. I’m dipping way back to an old favorite here, Saigon Kick. They’re best known for their power ballad “Love Is on the Way”, but as is often the case with one-hit wonders most famous for their power ballads, that song isn’t really representative of their sound, which was strikingly diverse but generally kind of straddled the line between hair metal and art metal. I still like ’em; I’ve been listening to their rarities and outtakes compilation, Moments from the Fringe, quite a bit lately. But here’s “Hostile Youth” from The Lizard, the same album that produced that other song.
