Shape shift, move swift

24Sep07

Girl: I’m not sure you know this, but John has lupus.

Me: He’s a werewolf?

Girl: What?

Me: Maybe I’m thinking of lycanthropy.

Girl: Lupus is an immune system disease. It’s like the opposite of AIDS.

Me: So the cure for lupus is AIDS?

Girl: No, it’s when the body fights itself.

Me: Like when your big brother makes you hit yourself? And he says, “Stop hitting yourself!”

Girl: I’m going to hit you.

  1. Lupus touches its own eyeball to gross you out.

  2. I should have pulled a Dr. House and said “It’s not lupus.”
