Wall of Voodoo — “Mexican Radio”

Occasionally on a Sunday, I like to post a music video from YouTube. Also occasionally on a Sunday, I like to stop by the local pub and have a pint or two with my lady. Here, these two habits coincide: Here’s an old favorite that was on at the pub today. It’s cut a little short, but you could say the same about Stan Ridgway’s musical career. Oddly enough, Wikipedia tells me that the band came about after Ridgway received a drum machine as a gift from Daws Butler, the voice of Yogi Bear. Let’s hope that this one makes its way onto the soundtrack of the live-action/CGI adaptation of Yogi Bear to be released in December 2010, starring — no kidding — Dan Aykroyd as the voice of Yogi and Justin Timberlake as the voice of his sidekick Boo Boo.
